I’ve always loved maps. For the past 15 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to turn this into a career in data analysis and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). As you can imagine, a lot has changed, and it takes a lot of effort to keep up. The goal of this blog is to be a space where I can document and share projects I’m working on and what I’ve learned.

I work mainly in R and ArcGIS but am expanding that a bit. You can expect some tips and tutorials for data analysis and mapping, particularly on topics I have found personally challenging. Whether you are new to this discipline or a seasoned veteran, I hope you find something to make your work easier.
